I'm a long-time runner residing in Portland, Oregon. I founded this riveting event, as well as the famous (that's right - in our minds) CLR team 6 Runners Avoiding Hectic. I hold the "security through obscurity" AR for 45-49 in the seldom-contested 25,000. I'm a bit of a "has been / never was", depending on one's perspective, ha ha. I've always enjoyed training, racing, and pushing myself, but never obtained anywhere near even sub-elite status. I was very happy (lucky and blessed, really) to have run 33:28 (track), 73:45 (track), and 2:38:55 (road), all as a Masters runner (the marathon being my outright PR). These were all in the adidas Adios era, but pre-Nike #MoonShoes. This is pretty dated, but here's a bit (ok, perhaps way too much) more: Time, Divided by Distance
