2015This track half marathon, dubbed the "Bill Aronson Track Half To Insure Mileage Exactness" (BATH TIME), was created after local runners experienced frustration with a number of mis-measured and mis-managed half marathons. The inaugural event took place in 2014, hosting a solid field of 6 full-distance finishers. The course consists of 52.5 laps around a 440-yard community track at the famous Duniway Park in Portland, OR. Because it's a yard track, Duniway is exactly 4 laps to the mile. By all accounts, it's a very fast course! You can run very fast there! Because there is no rail, the inside white lines around both turns are lined with cones to ensure distance accuracy. Competitors are responsible for keeping track of their own laps (and can bring a friend if desired to help count/record), taking any splits they want, and reporting their own finish times, as no official timing system has yet been implemented. There is no entry fee, and participants of all paces/abilities are welcome. If you'd like to compete, please email: [email protected]. Please include your name, gender, and age on race day. Day of race entries are also accepted. We look forward to seeing you at the BATH! 2015 BATH - Full Results
