This track half marathon, dubbed the "Bill Aronson Track Half To Insure Mileage Exactness" (BATH TIME, or BATH for short), was created after local runners experienced frustration at various road halfs, due to mismeasurements and/or course mishaps, resulting in incorrect distances. The inaugural BATH took place in 2014, hosting a field of 6 finishers. By year 5 and beyond, it had grown to 20+ racers.

The course consists of 52 laps + 297.5 meters around a 400-meter track. The inside lines around both turns are lined with cones to ensure distance accuracy. No stepping on the white lines!

Competitors are responsible for counting their own laps (and can bring a friend if desired to help count/record), taking splits at intervals of their choosing, and uploading their own results to the Huber Timing website via GPS file. Participation can be live (in-person) or virtual (during the 15-day time window leading up to the live event). There is no entry fee, and participants of all paces/abilities/ages are welcome. But please, no dogs at the live event!
